Chester Zoo :

Various activities throughout the day

Crocodiles of the World, Oxford :

Talk by Tomistoma researcher Agata Staniewicz ; Colin Stevenson, Vice chair of Tomistoma Task Force, interacting with visitors ; special Tomistoma cakes ; children’s activities.

Czech Republic

Krokodyli Zoo, Protovin :

Tomistoma documentary screening ; Tomistoma posters ; Talks and many other activities

Dvur Kralove Zoo :

Tomistoma feeding ; Talks by Pavel Moucha in front of Tomistoma exhibit ; activities for children ; support by local radio station

Spain

Fuengirola Zoo :

Various activities throughout the day

Germany

Dresden Zoo :

Keeper talk at 12pm ; artefacts (skull, teeth, eggs etc) presented with activities for children ; face painting.

Asia

Singapore Zoo :

Special feeding session ; Keeper talks ; social posts

 USA

San Antonio Zoo, Texas :

10am – 2pm: Staff are on hand at Tomistoma exhibit for guests to talk with ;      10:30am & 1:30pm – scheduled feeding ; Tables with artefacts, photos etc of Tomistoma ; Tomistoma bracelets and cut-out cookies for sale ; Tomistoma-related coloring items, crosswords etc in Reptile House.

National Zoo :

Events from 10am – 2pm : Dig in a Tomistoma nest (featuring some lovely choc eggs) ;  12 noon – talk by Bruce Schwedick, Chairman of the CSG’s Tomistoma Task Force ; capture a croc demo with Kevin Torregrosa ; croc skull educational activity ; a large Tomistoma cut-out for size comparison ; tables with artifacts and others manned by visiting crocodile specialists Bruce Shwedick, Kevin Torregrosa and Paul Weldon.

Virginia Aquarium :

Events from 9am – 4pm, including: Presentations by wildlife biologist and conservationist Joe Wasilewski ; Tomistoma feeding ;  Table manned by Chip Harshaw and Mark Swingle to exhibit artifacts and talk with visitors about Tomistoma conservation

 Croc Encounters, Tampa:

“Donations are being collected to help protect this crocodilian species in the wild.  We will match all donations that come in and all donations will go to Tomistoma Task Force.  Anyone who donates will get an opportunity to feed our very own crocodilians at Croc Encounters.  We will also hold Tomistoma Talks to bring awareness.  Come show your support for one of the largest yet least known species of crocodilian!”
